Macklemore giving a cool million to help Palestinians!!!? We LOVE to see this as our Beat Outlaws shows sometimes have charitable tie-ins including previously giving a percent of the door to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund and to Doctors Without Borders.

So privileged and happy to be here beta testing the app! PNW, I love you with all without missin' a beat., stay outlaws!
Block party was so much fun!! Everyone lit it up but my favorite set was Zingara. When she said the girls are playing whatever they want, I lost it. Definitely a great show
Portland, what did you think of the EDM Block Party? Although we didn't make the reviews I'm hearing are generally incredibly positive. Here's a taste of Subtronics from it!

Musicality and smooth layered transitions from a lot of fun genres to make you wanna get down and shake that ass.
Here's what Realm's been up to lately!!! (audio quality isn't great on this one, sadly)

The Deathmetal band HateBeak has a parrot for its lead singer. Unclear what drove said parrot to artistically vent its rage via thrashmetal
Pardon me, may I interest anyone in a moostache?
also available for supplying booty wiggles, but those (usually) don't come with adhesive.

There's something about a sunrise set that hits differently. The crowd that shows up at that hour actually wants to be there. No distractions, no performance — just people, music, and a morning that hadn't decided what it was going to be yet.
Deep house felt like the only right choice.
The full set just dropped on YouTube.

Two PDX fav EDM venues closing? 😭 Afterlife has announced on social media they are "temporarily closed" with few details provided. BeatOutlaws threw at least one "BeatOutlaws Happy Hour" at Afterlife, a swanky mid-sized spot on SE Hawthorne. Back2Earth, one of Portland's favorite gay bars announced they will be permanently closing 6-28-26. Both venues were known for great vibes and a variety of different EDM genres, especially house music.
Poor poor Vanilla ice fans! Hobbits and stairs ❤️💚
Shout out to ShayBaca &crew and the magnificent Wednesday weekly she's created over at NOVA PDX! Chill open decks early and heavy hitters later! And always streaming the show on Twitch (we know because Beat Outlaws scans and picks it up!) Everyone do what Shay's doing!!
