John G. (MüZE), lives in Vancouver WA; He enjoys the art of both Producing & DJing, & also loves curating themed raves & house afterparties, where he can play his music & give others the chance to experience what raving is supposed to be with less anxiety. 

MüZE, became interested in the electronic dance scene in 2015 out of his love of setting up light systems & listening to EDM artists in the early 2000's. 5 years ago, he decided to start his own rave scene. It started with a single crappy $30 laser system from amazon, a phone playing spotify, & some close friends, which exploded into high production lighting & lasers, him learning to DJ, then producing & now throwing established free/cheap safe themed underground raves on an almost bi-weekly schedule that are both inviting, & chill. 

 

Both a Producer & a DJ, he crafts & mixes multi-genre electronic music, which includes; Pop-EDM, Progressive, Bass House, Deep House, Trance, Tech House, Electro House, Future, Psy, House & much more. He is known for his re-mixes & mashups of many different genres of well-known popular music, as well as those that are not typically mixed; such as country music, movie theme songs, children's music, rock, music from other countries, & music that isn't universally known--for fun & just to be different, Lately he has started to merge multiple genres together, as well as incorporating instruments to make a unique EDM sound, acquiring a loyal fan base of over 17,000. 

MüZE has played at many small/medium regional festivals/events & has his sights set on playing the main stage at a large scale festival at some point in the future for the experience, but is not looking to play clubs/local venues or to be a brand name within the industry; Instead he has focused his goal on trying to revitalize the underground/renegade rave scene in the Portland area, where he has organized & played underground/renegade raves & silent raves almost every weekend for the past 6 years, at many unique regionally known locations, trying to bring the old ways back into the rave scene to the new generation of ravers & with it, the feeling of community, PLUR, & the pure love of the music with a focus on safety, comfortability, a drug/alcohol safe environment & even offers educational services on-site at his events regarding the safe use of substance & alcohol to include testing & information.
