What is BeatOutlaws now and what are the plans for the future? Beatoutlaws provides powerful CRM features for everyone in the show-production industry.
For anonymous users...
- See shows to attend in the Recommended Events and On Our Radar sections for upcoming shows. [update 10/30/24: Partially implemented]
- See cool venues to check out under Venues and Locations
- See DJs to follow under Hot DJs including seeing when they are performing (Calendar) [not yet implemented], their music (embedded soundcloud and links to Soundcloud/Mixcloud etc). See links: Social Networks, etc (similar to linkcloud)
For user's with an account (with or without an active subscription)
- Use the on-site messaging system (to contact other regular users, DJs, Vendors, Venue Owners, and more) [update 10/30 system working but needs cosmetic work]
For DJs with an active subscription ($1/month through 2025 or longer)
- Maintain an active profile that appears under Hot DJs including a) DJ Name b) Real name (optional) c) Bio & embedded music (soundcloud, youtube, others) d) links to book, to social network pages, to message this DJ, to off-site mixes and e) [not yet implemented as of 10/30/24) a calendar to keep track of bookings. Calendar can be publicly available or only internal.
- Active profile shows up in the HotDJs directory and can be added to Promoters internal list of DJs to be booked for their shows in the booking system.
For Venue Managers with an active subscription ($1/month through 2025 or longer)
- Maintain an active profile of your Venue locations including photos, location (map), amenities (pool & pinball, menu), and contact links for promoters or other users to reach out to use your location. Active profiles are shown on the Venues & Locations page and elsewhere.
For Event Promoters with an active subscription ($1/month through 2025 or longer)
- Tools to create your events including a) maintaining a private list of your DJs, your venues, your vendors, and more. Your private list is seperate from the official subscribed list, but can pull from that list. For example, you can list DJ Cousin Earl in your internal list and use that DJ entry when creating events, but DJ Cousin Earl only shows up in your event listings and is not added to the HotDJs list. Alternately, you can view the HotDJs and see DJ Banjo' Ned and add him to your private list of DJs to play your shows. If DJ Banjo' Ned disappears from the HotDJs public list you still have DJ Banjo' Ned in your internal list forever. (in other words for DJs, Venues, Vendors etc you have both your own list and access to the public list that you can copy to, which is tbh a very cool feature, there we said it)
- Links to your social pages like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc
For Vendors with an active subscription ($1/month through 2025 or longer)
- Have your own vendor profile that shows up in the Vendors directory (with info such as what you sell/rent, pictures of your wares or service), and important links (like your fb page, instagram, etc). Event Promoters can pull from your vendor listing and add you to their events when using their event-creation tools.
Someday...
- Have a front page live twitch box that shows whatever Twitch-enabled DJ (or Venue?) has a live twitch screen going. The feed will be on the front page of BeatOutlaws.com (small window that can be made full screen).
