This system is small and light weight and is getting a lot of action lately!!
- Upgraded Turbosound Milan 18b "2200 watt" 18" folded horn subwoofer. (approx 105lbs, ACTIVE) AND
- Two Mackie Thump 15a Tops (15" full range drivers "1300 watt", approx 35lbs each, ACTIVE) with stands
The Turbosound subwoofer has had it's driver upgraded and has been specially tuned to hit lower, making it especially good for bassy genres like Bass, Dubstep, D&B, and bass house. Also works great for acoustic genres as the tops extend into the subwoofer range and match well with the bassy sub.
(Note that this does not include a DJ monitor (recommended). Either use your own, rent one of ours, or place the speakers behind the DJ)

Two Yamaha PX8 amplifiers with DSP running:
Two Yamaha S115V 15" Tops and two DB 15" Subwoofers or dual 15" KV2 subwoofer box +$50(upgraded) with mounting poles or stands
Yamaha has been refining and upgrading their S115 15" full range tops for decades and the 5th version is a clean and clear joy to hear. Featuring eminence compression horn tweeters, these tops WOW the audience, with clarity that reveals musical details lesser systems just can't.
Pair the tops with either DB folded horn subs (approx 80lbs each) and poles, or with an upgraded KV2 dual 15" folded horn box (approx 215lbs) to fill in the low end. Note the dual 15" KV2 box requires at least two people to effectively transport.
This system requires a bit more audio knowledge to configure and set up. For beginners, stick to the budget system above.
