THIS SUNDAY — IT’S A CULTURE SHOCK 
Sunday Spotlight is back August 3rd @whiteowlsocialclub with a creative DJ twist 
Challenge: Each DJ must create a 30 min set that incorporates at least 30% of their set using cultural media influences- this can be anything from:
• Movie/TV show audio 
• Video game samples
• Viral TikTok/Vine/Reel sounds
• Memes & internet moments
• Iconic commercials or nostalgic audio
DJs can use any EDM genre – house, techno, bass, DnB, trap, jersey club, etc – to craft a creative, cohesive, and high-energy set that connects with the crowd in a fun and recognizable way. Think: • A drum & bass edit using The Jungle Book song
• A bass drop with Mario’s coin sound
• A house remix with the “Hawk Tuah” meme
• A trap flip of Spongebob quotes
By doing this challenge, each DJ must create clean transitions and still make it catchy enough to dance to
