Americana singer-songwriter Sawyer Fredericks brings his deeply personal, soulful sound to the Jack London Revue on June 24th.
Hailing from a farm in central New York, Sawyer began performing at just 13 years old, playing farmers markets, open mics, and iconic New York venues. With lyrics and melodies far beyond his years, paired with a powerful and emotive voice, he captured national attention—and ultimately won Season 8 of The Voice.
Following his win, Sawyer released his major label debut *A Good Storm* with Republic Records, showcasing a rich fusion of folk, blues, and rock. He later chose an independent path, writing and producing his 2018 album *Hide Your Ghost*, a raw and honest return to his stripped-down roots.
His 2020 release *Flowers For You* earned widespread recognition, with features in major publications and two wins at the Independent Music Awards, including Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Song for “Born.” The track also received airplay on SiriusXM’s Coffee House and was featured on major streaming playlists.
In 2023, Sawyer released *The Golden Tree EP*, collaborating with members of The Accidentals, further expanding his sound while staying grounded in authenticity.
His latest full-length album, *No Need To Wonder*, recorded in Woodstock and released on Earth Day 2025, reflects an environmental theme and marks a powerful new chapter in his artistry. The release follows his 2024 collaboration “Burn It Down” with Cassandra Kubinski, which has been nominated for Record of the Year at the Eddie Awards.
